Thieves steal over $2,000 worth of allergy medicine from Lincoln Hy-Vees, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for two women who stole over $2,000 worth of allergy medicine from two Lincoln grocery stores.

On Tuesday, two women were seen on security cameras at the Hy-Vee near 70th Street and Pioneers Boulevard carrying a black bag.

The women put around $1,137 worth of Zyrtec and Flonase in the bag, according to police.

Later on, the same women were spotted at the Hy-Vee near 50th and O Streets.

Police said they drove off in a gold minivan with $1,018 worth of allergy medicine.

The thefts happened between 5:45 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
