Severe Thunderstorm Watch through 5 a.m. Tuesday morning

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for much of northern Nebraska through 5 a.m. CDT Tuesday.

Counties include Keya Paha, Brown, Rock, Boyd and Holt through north central Nebraska.

Primary concerns are damaging winds, likely up to 85 mph gusts, and scattered hail events up to 1.5″ are possible, too.

These storms will continue to trek eastward through the night and into Tuesday, lingering through much of the morning.
