Lincoln’s Haymarket fills with European motorcycles for monthly event

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Community members enjoyed looking at a wide variety of vintage and new motorcycles on Wednesday night.

For the last 21 years, European Motorcycle Night has been held in the Haymarket District.

The event is a night for motorcycle enthusiasts to share their love for motorcycles with other riders and curious community members.

The bikes in the show must be at least 35 years old and be of European make.

“It’s kind of for what we consider the orphan bikes of the motorcycle world,” said Randy Keiser, a longtime event coordinator. “The more unusual, the more different motorcycles. Some British, Italian and even a few Japanese motorcycles.”

European Motorcycle Night is free to the public and runs from 4 until 9 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month.

It happens on Eighth Street between P and Q Streets.
