Food Bank of Lincoln talks donations, volunteer opportunities

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- If you are interested in donating to the Food Bank of Lincoln, you can drop items off at all Edward Jones locations in their service area, select Super Saver stores or the Food Bank location at 1221 Kingbird Road.

Each Wednesday, the Food Bank of Lincoln delivers about 200 food-filled bags to neighbors in our community. The non-profit is in need of volunteers to help make deliveries from about 10 a.m. to noon. You can sign-up or learn more about other volunteer opportunities on their website.

Mobile food distributions are still being held Monday-Saturday throughout their 16-county service area.
