It’s National Caviar Day!

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — If you have a love for luxurious foods, today is the day for you.  It’s National Caviar Day.

It’s a day to enjoy the seafood delicacy that perfectly pairs with toast.

But, it’s also a day to raise awareness about the sturgeon fish, whose eggs are used to make caviar.

Environmental restrictions had to be ordered due to over-harvesting.

However, you can mark the day by enjoying caviar whether it’s on a blini, toast or however way you like it.
