Saltillo Road project begins next week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – If the weather cooperates, a resurfacing project will begin on Saltillo Road from 14th to 27th streets next week.

Construction is currently scheduled to start Monday, and it’s expected to take about a week.

There will be lane closures during the work.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation wants to remind motorists to drive cautiously near work zones.

NDOT also reminds people to buckle up and put their phones down while driving, especially in work zones.
