LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Saturday after deputies found drugs in a vehicle near Waverly, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says.

Around 1 a.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle for having a taillight out on Highway 6 near North 112th Street.

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said 32-year-old Kyle Loebig got out of the vehicle and agreed to a pat-down.

The deputy found a meth pipe and began a search of Loebig’s vehicle.

Inside, deputies found 40.1 grams of amphetamine and about 20 suspected Xanax pills, according to Houchin.

Loebig and a passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Nefertity Sandoval, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver.
