UPDATE: Man suffers self-inflicted gunshot wound at Lincoln gun range

UPDATE: According to Lincoln Police, the man who suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at BigShots Indoor Range on Tuesday has died from his injuries.

No identity has been released as officials allow the family time to deal with the loss.

Lincoln Police said a 25-year-old man suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at a Lincoln shooting range. 

Crews were called to BigShots Indoor Range on Sun Valley Blvd around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. 

The man was taken to a local hospital where he is currently undergoing medical treatment.

Police said there is no ongoing danger to the public. They are continuing to investigate.
