Two thieves stole several phones from Grand Island Verizon store, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating an early Monday morning burglary at a Verizon store in Grand Island.

Around 2 a.m., officers were sent to the store near Highway 281 and West 13th Street after an alarm went off.

When officers arrived, they found a broken window on the northeast side of the building, police said.

Officers also saw various electronics lying on the floor.

An employee told officers that two people had entered the store through the broken window.

Police said the thieves took off with about 12 Apple and Samsung phones.
