Minden man takes plea deal after bowling alley burglary

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —A Minden man charged with burglarizing a bowling alley has taken a plea deal.

Yorick Wilson, 22, pleaded guilty on Friday to burglary and theft by shoplifting.

In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dismissed additional charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession or use of drug paraphernalia, and criminal mischief.

In December 2022, Minden Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Auto Way Bowl.

Officers found a broken glass door and saw the business had been ransacked.

Wilson is set to appear In Kearney County District Court for sentencing at 2 p.m. on Sept. 20.
