No credible threat found after an attempted abduction was reported in Cass County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office released an update on the attempted abduction reported in Eagle, saying investigators found no credible threat to public safety.

It received the report on August 8th and immediately launched an investigation.

The sheriff’s office also gave a shoutout to everyone who used this as a chance to discuss “stranger danger” and other safety tips.

Officials encourage citizens to report all suspicious activity and to remain aware of their surroundings.
