Woman’s body found alongside rural Nebraska highway; man arrested
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A body was found Wednesday along a rural highway in Garfield County, the Nebraska State Patrol says.
Around 6 a.m., the sheriff’s office found the body of 33-year-old Amanda Summers east of Burwell near Highway 91.
On Thursday, troopers arrested 22-year-old Calvin Measner as part of the investigation. He was taken to the Garfield County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing, the patrol said.
