The Nebraska Czech community celebrated their heritage at the 50th Czech Festival

Sunday was the 50th annual Czech Festival in Lincoln.

Many people showed up to celebrate the Czech culture in the state of Nebraska.

For organizers of the event to have everyone show up and learn more about the impact the Czech community has had is very important.

“Czech’s play a really big part of Nebraska history we are some of the people who come over from central Europe and settled as a part of the homestead get and we’ve been coming and settling here still even till today,” Carter Hulinsky the President of the Nebraska Czech of Lincoln

The organizers said that the state of Nebraska has the most Czech immigrants compared to the rest of the 49 states.
