Lincoln High shut out by Omaha Central at home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln High School Links fell to Omaha Central 45-0 at home Friday.

In the first quarter, Omaha Central scored on a rushing touchdown by running back Kylonn Haynie to put the Eagles up 7-0 early.

Quarterback Bernard Newsome then completed a pass downfield to wide receiver Avry Harris, increasing Central’s lead to 14-0.

Omaha Central scored one more touchdown before halftime and rolled to a 45-0 win once the final buzzer sounded.

Lincoln High will look for its second win of the season when it travels to Grand Island next Friday.
