LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the death of a Kansas man at the Swanson Reservoir on Friday.

Around 9:30 a.m., Nebraska Game and Parks asked troopers for help in a search of a missing man and boat at the reservoir, just west of McCook.

The patrol said a Ford F-150 and an empty boat trailer were found unoccupied at a boat ramp.

Later on, authorities used sonar equipment and found the body of 68-year-old Michael Harrison underwater near the boat ramp.

The Imperial Search and Rescue dive team recovered the body.

The patrol said an autopsy is scheduled and foul play is not suspected at this time.
