Lincoln’s Husker Lawn and Leisure Show brings in hundreds through the bad weather
At the Lancaster Event Center, it was the 2nd day of the Husker Lawn and Leisure show.
It features all of the different projects that you can be doing this upcoming spring.
“I mean there’s whether you need new siding, new windows, landscaping, patios set, swimming pool, it’s all right here,” Paula Widholm of the Husker Lawn and Leisure
Different vendors show up from all across the state, and this event brings in a lot of people who are ready to break ground on their spring and summer projects.
“This one here is always one of our best events of the year, it’s because it’s later in the season, spring is just around the corner so this brings a lot of customers that are already getting itchy to get out in the yard,” Rob Hobelman owner of Supreme Spa and Pool said.
The goal for the Husker Lawn and Leisure event is to take you away from this winter weather and bring you into all of the possibilities that this spring can give you.
“Well with the winter we’ve had I think we all feel like we’re stuck in a snow globe so to speak so it’s great to have springtime hand made springtime indoors,” Widholm said.
Even though this winter seems like it will never end this event makes the spring season feel just a little bit closer.
“Everyone should show up to this even just because the weather is nasty out there, people are getting depressed because of this long winter. This is a place to come see all of the new product, get excited for spring because it’s right around the corner,” Brent Van Winkle of Outdoor Solutions said.
The Husker Lawn and Leisure show end on Sunday so you can still go and visit at the Lancaster Event Center from 11 to 5.
