The Goehner Fire Department is getting ready for Sunday’s spaghetti feed

The Goehner Fire Department is gearing up on Saturday afternoon to get ready for the 62nd annual spaghetti feed.
They are expecting more 1,500 people to show up on Sunday night.
All of the food is homemade, they had more than 600 pounds of meat for just the meatballs. For them this is a whole community effort in order to get ready for the big day.
“Brings the whole community together you know as you can see in the other room there’s people most of the people in town and even from a few surrounding towns are here to help us to get ready for this,” Jesse Meinberg of the Goehner Fire department said.
They say everyone is welcome from all corners of Nebraska to stop by the spaghetti feed on Sunday.
