Man accused of resisting arrest, biting officer’s wrist at west Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man bit an officer while resisting arrest at a west Lincoln gas station late Thursday night, police say.

Around 10:50 p.m., officers spoke with 20-year-old Thiep Nuot at Casey’s near Southwest Sixth and A streets.

Police said Nuot was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.

After a sobriety test, Nuot tackled an officer to the ground and bit him on the wrist, police said.
