Almost 57 pounds of meth leads to Mexican man’s sentencing in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man from Mexico will be spending nearly 20 years behind bars following a big meth bust in Nebraska.
Roberto Balbuena-Ignacio was sentenced Wednesday for his role in a drug conspiracy that began in 2021.
An informant working for the DEA bought 1 pound of meth from the 36-year-old on three different occasions.
After three months, the investigation led authorities to an Omaha home near South 10th and Center streets.
That’s where they found almost 57 pounds of meth, along with some cocaine.
Teodoro Alejandro Castillo-Rincon and Francisco Martinez-Mungia were also arrested.
Both of them were sentenced to more than a decade in prison.
