A new bill would safeguard home hospitality such as Airbnb

 

Airbnb is a website and an app which allows for visitor of a city to live inside against short term rental.

Currently there is a bill in the legislature to make it fully legal all throughout the state of Nebraska for homeowners to rent out their homes for a short-term.

Amanda Doctor rents out her home to all types of guests throughout the year, and for her guests they get a different look into what all the city of Lincoln has to offer.

“I get to tell them about my favorite local coffee shops or the best places to get Chinese or the best dog parks to visit while their here,” Amanda Doctor an Airbnb owner in Lincoln said.

Last week in the Nebraska legislature the legislative bill got passed through committee 7-0 and it passed through General File.
