Missing Nebraska man doesn’t have enough medicine to survive much longer

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Loved ones and local authorities are racing against the clock to find a missing Beaver Crossing man.

The Pleasant Dale Volunteer Fire Department shared a post by John Burton’s wife, who is begging for help.

Burton hasn’t been seen since Sept. 25.

His wife said the 54-year-old is diabetic and would be running out of medicine by now.

The Nebraska State Patrol said Burton was wearing a bright green shirt and blue jeans when he disappeared.

He is 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds and might be in his 1976 black-and-gold Oldsmobile.

If you see or hear from Burton, you’re asked to call the Seward County Sheriff’s Office at 402-643-3002.

You can also contact the Nebraska Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 877-441-5678.
