A local preschool has expanded, and they unveiled a new location in east Lincoln

Dimensions, a preschool, has now opened their doors at their second location at 77th and A street after being at their first location at First Plymouth Congregational Church for nearly 50 years.

Because of years of donations towards the Dimensions program, they are able to help pay for preschool for families who may need financial assistance.

“We’re just excited to extend to families affordable child care that’s really quite wonderful.” Site Coordinator Heather Fox said.

Dimensions prides itself on being able to teach students with hands-on learning opportunities, which they say can benefit the students long term.

For the educators at Dimensions, being able to serve those in the community who need help is what makes their program really stand out.

“That’s what it is all about, making sure that each child is able to have a really special place to be all day and to have a place that will support their learning and growth so thoroughly,” Fox said.
