Friendship Home of Lincoln raising awareness in October

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- The community can still donate to Friendship Home of Lincoln’s Safe Quarters event. It’s the non-profit’s largest fundraising event of the year.

Money that’s been donated will provide crisis services, shelter and advocacy to domestic violence survivors. Friendship Home set this year’s goal at $100,000. October is domestic violence awareness month. You can learn more about volunteer and donating opportunities on their website.
