University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Mobile Me and You Conference

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hosting a one-of-a-kind conference with the Mobile Me and You conference. 

“Nobody else is doing it to my knowledge, there is no other two-day conference devoted solely to mobile media in all of its forms,” said UNL Professor Gary Kebbel.

The conference lasts two days, and the message that is being sent to the students who attended is how to engage with anyone in the world through a mobile platform.

“Mobile media bridges every digital divide that I can think of. Young, Old, rich, poor, educated, uneducated, urban, rural, in country, out of country, black, white. You name a divide and mobile media are on both sides of it. That means mobile media has the best chance that I can think of for uniting us in a common conversation,” added Kebbel.

Mobile Me and You had more than 400 students come out and learn about the powers of mobile media this weekend.
