Frost possible AM Monday; Gradual warm up Tuesday

Below normal temperatures are expected for the start of our new work week. High temperatures will warm to near normal starting on Tuesday. Plenty of dry time expected this week, with small chances for showers on Wednesday.

Much of eastern Nebraska is under a Frost Advisory Monday morning, temperatures will drop to near freezing. Parts of south-central Nebraska are under a Freeze Warning, where temperatures will drop near 29 degrees, with frost and freeze possible. Both are in affect until 9:00am Monday.

Brrr…temperatures will dip below/near freezing Monday morning. Now is the time to bring any plants inside or cover any outdoor greenery with a blanket. Frost is likely for much of south-central and some eastern counties.

Frost is possible again Tuesday morning, before we gradually warm up.
Jackets, hats and gloves will likely be needed both Monday and Tuesday morning.

After a chilly overnight, our highs across the state will be much warmer on Monday compared to our blustery weekend. High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s are expected.

 

Krista Week Ahead

Frost is possible on Monday and again Tuesday morning. Our high temperatures will gradually warm into the upper 60s and low 70s by Tuesday. Comfortable fall conditions are right around the corner!
