Down town Lincoln on Sunday morning had a somber feeling to it as Husker fans packed up to go home after getting rained out.

"Disappointment, Disbelief, couldn’t believe it. What a play, one play, kickoff. Oh well," said Anthony Ward about the game.

"Little disappointed we didn’t get to see a game but I understand like why we can’t play with lighting it’s just how it goes," says Cale Dohmen.

"I think it was a little disappointing but overall you know the tunnel walk was cool," said Scott Erikson.

Although the game got washed out, the experience it left these Husker fans was not one to forget.

"It was definitely a unique experience I’ve been coming to games for 25 years and never had a game canceled like this so it’s kinda unique and fun in some ways because the student section was rocking for about 2 hours in there and it was very wet, very wet," said Scott Erikson.

"So I mean it was still a good day and I had a lot of fun even made it down to the student section during the storm and there’s still a lot of die hards that are ready for Colorado next weekend," says Brent Sinsel.

The thought for many Husker fans after the game was what to do with their tickets?

"Oh we can’t get a refund, that’s not going to happen," added Anthony Ward.

"I think it’s done. Just accept it come back have a good time next weekend," added Brent Sinsel.

"I don’t know they said to keep your tickets, I don’t know what they could possibly really do I don’t know," says Cale Dohmen.

The Huskers still haven’t released an official statement on what they are going to do, but if there is any information we will break it to you on our social media pages, and on our website klkntv.com.
