Recall Alert: gun safes, toys and off-road vehicles

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Fortress Safe is recalling over 61,000 of its biometric gun safes. The biometric lock on the gun safes can be opened by unauthorized users, posing a serious injury hazard and risk of death. Officials say one death has been reported, relating to this recall.

Fisher-Price is recalling over 21,000 of its ‘Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Troublesome Truck & Crates and Troublesome Truck & Paint.’ The small plastic piece, containing a high-powered magnet that connects one train to another, can detach or become loose. The company says this poses choking and magnet ingestion hazards.

If you have the recalled product, contact the company to receive a pre-paid return label. You will be sent a full refund once you return the product.

Polaris is recalling over 2,500 of its RZR Pro XP, Pro XP 4, RZR XP and XP 4 recreational off-road vehicles. The improperly routed brake line can contact the front wheels during vehicle operation, resulting in brake line damage and brake loss. The company says this poses a crash hazard.

If you have the recalled product, contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. The company has notified consumers to stop riding the vehicles and is contacting registered owners directly.
