Triple B Screen Printing is reaching new heights because of the new Husker head coach.
Joshua Batte is the owner of Triple B Screen Printing in Lincoln, and he prints his own designed T-Shirts from his garage, much like tech giant Apple got its start.
"I print t-shirts and they made world changing technology so I wouldn’t throw myself in that realm whatsoever," says Batte.
He’s been working out of his garage like this for many years.
"My mom randomly gave me a little home screen printing machine because my friends and I would have parties and dumb events and we would make thirsts for them and have t-shirts made, so she saw this and thought well shoot I’ll get this for josh he can make his own t-shirts now for those events," added Batte.
Joshua who sells online and at the Lincoln Farmers Market, has recently experienced a spike in sales.
This happened after Scott Frost was seen a month ago wearing one of his T-Shirts as the Huskers Head Coach threw out the first pitch at a Cubs game.
"Like I said I thought it was very cool and I was ok that’s awesome cause I mean the guy is huge right now like everybody loves the dude so I was pretty appreciative and humbled that he thought enough of my product to wear it," said Batte.
With Scott Frost now at the helm, Joshua is expecting his sales numbers to slowly grow throughout the season.
"Yea I’m expecting it to be a lot better this year because of the ‘Frost Effect’ as they call it, it’s kind of been positive for everyone it’s on the skirts of sports industry at all," says Batte.
The possibilities for the Triple B Screen Printing company could be endless with the Frost effect.
"I mean I’m either going to ride it into hopefully expansion bigger and better things like I said shop one day would be ideal but at the same time I can’t just rest on designs and things that I have already done I get to be being creative," added Batte.
