Waverly Vikings conquer Ralston in round one of playoffs

WAVERLY, Neb. (KLKN) – The Waverly Vikings dominated the Ralston Rams 42-0 on a brisk Friday night at Viking Stadium.

In the first quarter, Waverly quarterback Nolan Maahs ran in the ball into the end zone for a 13-yard rushing touchdown.

In the second quarter, running back Aden Smith powered through Ralston’s defense from the 3-yard line to make it 27-0.

With one minute to go until halftime, Smith scored again with a 53-yard touchdown. The Vikings went into the half up 35-0.
