Aftermath of Saturday Night’s Storm

Some residents in Lincoln are dealing with the after affects from the heavy rain last night, as Saturday night’s storms reached up to 5 inches of rain. All the rain caused quite a bit of damage. For Russel, who lives in south Lincoln, all of the rain caused his car to be flooded.
 
"Torrential downpour my car was parked right over by a dumpster and there’s a couple draining spouts over there," said Russell "and they drain really slowly so I didn’t even think about this car I was more worried about the other which is a little more expensive vehicle, and came back out here to look and I was like ‘oh crap’ my car is completely under water"
 
The water line on Russel’s car is still visible, even a day after the storm.
 
"Everybody on the higher ground was great I mean it was fine over in that area but it was just further down about what 20 yards down here," added Russell "and it was just flooded it was up to my knees"
 
But just like after every storm comes a rainbow, and a new day emerges.
