Motorcyclist killed in southeast Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man died Tuesday night after a crash in southeast Lincoln, police say.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of 70th Street and Nebraska Parkway.

Police said a motorcycle was heading west when it struck an SUV turning at the intersection.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, was thrown from his bike.

First responders attempted CPR on the motorcyclist, who was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV had minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.

Southbound 70th Street was closed for several hours as officers investigated the crash.
