LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest’s Braden Frager signed with Nebraska basketball on Wednesday.

Frager is a three-star recruit and ranked No. 147 in the class of 2025, officials said in a press release.  He is graduating early to join the Huskers in 2024.

During the 2022-23 season, Frager averaged 11.4 points and 7 rebounds per game, helping the Silver Hawks reach the district final.

The Lincoln native had offers from other schools, including Creighton.

“Braden is hard-playing wing with good size,” head coach Fred Hoiberg said in the release.  “He is a high-flying athlete who can finish with authority at the rim and can score at all three levels. Braden is a very confident kid who plays with an edge.”

Nick Janowksi, the No. 114 player in the class of 2024, also signed with the Huskers on Wednesday.

The Wisconsin native is a four-star recruit, according to ESPN.

The 6-foot-3 guard began his senior year with 1,374 points, leading Pewaukee High School to three consecutive state championships.

“The thing that stands out about Nick is his competitiveness. He knows how to win and the work it takes to be successful,” Hoiberg said. “He plays for one of the best programs in Wisconsin and possesses an outstanding work ethic. Nick is a combo guard who is one of the best shooters in his class.”
