Bret Michaels the singer meets Bret Michaels the dog in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Bret Michaels the rock star and Bret Michaels the dog are together at last.

On Thursday, the Nebraska Humane Society posted a picture on social media of the lead singer of Poison and the 6-year-old husky.

“We’re so happy that Bret Michaels finally got to meet Bret Michaels!” the shelter said in the post.

The husky gained prominence last month when he donated blood to an anemic kitten.

Michaels, the singer, heard about it and decided to adopt him.

In the Instagram post, shared pictures of other dogs that need a home.

“In case you’re looking for your own mini-me, here’s a few more huskies + husky mixes that would love to be named after you,” the post said.
