Authorities looking for man involved in string of eastern Nebraska car thefts
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man involved in several eastern Nebraska vehicle thefts.
Jerrod Altevogt, 39, is suspected of stealing cars in Dodge, Douglas, Colfax and Washington counties.
He is also wanted in Madison County, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Please lock up all vehicles, your home and be vigilant to suspicious activity especially in rural areas,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
People are asked to call 911 if they spot Altevogt.
