LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A north Lincoln trailer home was damaged Thursday night in an electrical fire.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the fire just after 8 p.m. at the home near 27th and Theresa streets.

When crews arrived, they saw light smoke coming from the trailer home’s roof.

LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said a fire was found in the ceiling.

An electrical wire failure sparked the blaze, according to the fire inspector.

Lierman estimates the flames caused $2,000 in damage to the structure and another $500 to the contents.

The home’s residents were displaced.
