No. 1 Nebraska volleyball dominates Michigan

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 1 Nebraska volleyball swept Michigan on Friday night, inching closer to a perfect season.

The Huskers defeated the Wolverines 25-15, 25-12, 25-20 in their final home match of the year.

With the win, and with Wisconsin’s loss, Nebraska has clinched at least a share of the Big Ten title.

It was a dominant performance all the way around. NU hit .368%, far outpacing Michigan’s .047%.

Andi Jackson and Bekka Allick each finished with hitting percentages of at least .700%.

Jackson and Harper Murray led the team with nine kills apiece. Bekka Allick and Merritt Beason each added seven.

Lexi Rodriguez recorded 15 digs, and Bergen Reilly had 28 assists.

Nebraska, 26-0, has three regular season games remaining.

The first is at Iowa on Sunday. The match will me streamed on Big Ten Plus at 2 p.m.
