Warmest on Wednesday in southeast Nebraska

High temperatures across Nebraska on Tuesday weren’t too shabby as we experienced 40s and 50s for the most part. Far southeast Nebraska struggled as they are still trying to melt down the snow from the weekend. Even in the darker colors of the Panhandle you can tell there’s still snow cover out there, but the sun has been doing hard work the past couple days.

Highs Tues

Speaking of the sun, we’ve got plenty more of that in the forecast for Wednesday. Following a warm front passing through Tuesday, we’ll actually start out a lot warmer than the past two mornings in the teens. Before the sun comes out, expect lows around the lower 20s, then we’ll have temperatures jump to the middle and upper 50s by the afternoon. Winds should be less of a factor on Wednesday, too.

Jess Day Planner Vertical

After Wednesday, Thursday is the last day of November and then Friday starts December! Normal highs this late in November are in the middle 40s, and we’ll be closer to that on Thursday following a dry cold front Wednesday night. Friday will be the coldest day of the week, with highs in the upper 30s.

Jess 3day Gma

There are only a couple chances at precipitation in the near future, one late Thursday and another one by Saturday. They are both small chances, and it continues to look like Thursday will only affect Falls City at best.

The next system that develops in the South will keep more of a southern track that keeps even northern fringe from gifting us with any precipitation late Thursday into Friday.

Jessica Stormcast

Saturday is the other chance at snow and rain. It’s a small chance too, and it piggybacks off the Thursday system. Other than these couple of chances through the first part of the weekend, early December will continue to be dry.
