Thief pushed man, stole $50,000 in jewelry near Lincoln store, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is searching for a thief who stole $50,000 in jewelry early Friday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., a 55-year-old man was carrying two boxes of jewelry into PL Jewelry near 30th and O streets.
An unknown man then pushed him down, picked up the boxes and ran away, police said.
The victim tried running after the thief but was unable to catch him.
