ROCA, Neb. (KLKN) – It may have been a cold and rainy night on Friday, but that didn’t stop people from having a jolly good time at Roca Berry Farm’s new Roca Merry Farm attraction.

The farm has had a pumpkin patch attraction since the ’90s and becomes Roca Scary Farm for Halloween. But it’s never done a Christmas theme.

It doesn’t encompass the whole farm, but there’s plenty to do.

There are live reindeer, plenty of vendors to buy gifts from and, of course, Santa and his family are there for pictures.

Something as big as this takes a lot of time to set up; the team has been working on it for weeks.

“It’s been seven days a week since we closed the pumpkin patch,” said Jordan Schafer, the farm’s director of fun. “Every single day just putting up more lights, more lights and just trying to get as much out here and done as we possibly could to give people a good experience.”

He said he was thankful to have all the support from everyone who showed up.

The farm is open Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $12 online or $15 at the door.  Kids 2 and under are free.

Admission includes everything except food and vendors.
