Warming up with more sunshine on Sunday

Lingering patchy fog mixed with sub-freezing temperatures may lead to slick patches Sunday morning. Skies clear up by the afternoon, with temperatures warming to above normal. Monday we are back to near normal, then Tuesday through Sunday temperatures warm once again to above average.

Following a near normal Saturday, temperatures on Sunday will gradually warm from the mid to upper 20s into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Sunday will be seasonally warmer, with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. A little warmer compared to our usual high of 39 degrees.

Christmas is only a few days away and if you have postponed hanging up any lights and decorations, then Sunday and Monday look like the best time to do so. Winds pick up on Tuesday, making it a mostly sunny but breezy day.

While back home things are calm on Sunday, a storm system will carry over into the first half of the day in Tampa. If you or anyone you know is in Tampa Bay for the Huskers Volleyball match, the activity moves out of the area by the start of the match at 2:00pm. Tampa Bay will be left with mostly cloudy skies for the second half of the day on Sunday.
