Driver cited in two-vehicle crash on rural Nebraska highway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A driver was ticketed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in rural Merrick County.

The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at the Highway 92 and Highway 14 junction, just north of Central City.

A Toyota was heading south on Highway 14 when the driver went past a stop sign and crashed into a Ford Explorer.

The driver of the Toyota was ticketed for violating a stop sign.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
