LFR, LPD respond to suspicious package at south Lincoln apartment complex
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are investigating a suspicious package Tuesday at a south Lincoln apartment complex.
Around 10:30 a.m., officers were called to a home near 23rd and B streets on a domestic call, Lt. Justin Armstrong said.
Police were searching for a person involved, which led them to The Lodge apartments near 40th Street and Nebraska Parkway.
Officers found a suspicious package in a vehicle there, and Lincoln Fire & Rescue’s bomb squad was called in.
The contents of the package are currently unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
Authorities are waiting to obtain a search warrant for an apartment, Capt. Max Hubka said.
