Keisei Tominaga scores 28 as Huskers continue hot streak against Hoosiers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska basketball defeated Indiana 86-70 on Wednesday night for its fifth straight win.
The Huskers started to pull away from the Hoosiers midway through the first half with a 7-0 scoring run.
NU went into the locker room with a 41-33 lead.
In the second half, the Huskers rarely led by less than double digits.
They had a 9-0 run with 6 points from Keisei Tominaga and a 3-pointer by Brice Williams.
The game was won beyond the arc. Nebraska was 12 of 32 from 3-point range, compared with 9 of 18 for Indiana.
Overall, the Hoosiers shot 47% from the field to the Huskers’ 46%.
Tominaga led Nebraska with 28 points, including four 3-pointers.
Williams scored 15 points and finished with three 3-pointers and five rebounds.
Jamarques Lawrence added 12 points, and C.J. Wilcher had 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
The Huskers (12-2) are off to their best start in more than 30 years.
They play at Wisconsin on Saturday. The game starts at 1:15 on the Big Ten Network.
