Nebraska Farm Bureau to recognize FFA advisors in virtual ceremony
The NFB Foundation is recognizing those who participated in this year's Connecting Chapters program in a special Facebook Live ceremony.

The Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation announced Tuesday that it will recognize Nebraska FFA Chapters who participated in the 2019-2020 Connecting Chapters program in a special Facebook Live ceremony on Thursday .
The Connecting Chapters program equips high school FFA members to connect with elementary students and peers to increase agricultural literacy in their communities. In Thursday’s ceremony, they plan to announce the FFA advisors of the year.
The foundation says that despite the challenges of this unprecedented time, they want to “recognize the champions who have spent the past year helping Nebraskans understand the importance of agriculture in our state.”
The ceremony will include speakers Courtney Schaardt, director of outreach education, Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation (Connecting Chapters program) and Megahn Schafer, executive director, Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation (FFA Advisors of the Year).
The Facebook Live event will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
