Maurice Washington case continued to July
Today Nebraska running back Maurice Washington case was continued, he is scheduled to appear in court on July 25th.
A spokesperson in Santa Clara County Superior Court, confirmed that Washington’s public defender appeared in court for him at 9:45 a.m.
The sophomore faces child and revenge porn charges, for allegedly sending an sexually explicit video to an ex.
Prosecutors tell us Wednesday’s hearing is a preliminary one–where a judge will determine whether there is enough evidence to go to trial.
They also said any sort of plea deal has not come to fruition.
Washington’s lawyer declined to comment.
