Lincoln liquor store damaged in skid loader rampage is back open

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A southeast Lincoln liquor store reopened Monday after being damaged in a skid loader rampage.
The Still near 70th Street and Nebraska Parkway closed Sunday after Samuel Peyrot, 36, drove into the building with a skid loader.
Peyrot also damaged several vehicles, including a Lincoln police cruiser, in a Home Depot parking lot.
He was later arrested on suspicion of several charges.

Early Monday morning, The Still announced that it reopened — but with a temporary door.
“Someone tried to LOAD up yesterday in a way that was incompatible with our entrance,” the store said in a social media post.
