LPS cancels school again due to dangerous cold in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — School is out in Lincoln.

Lincoln Public Schools announced Monday night that Tuesday classes are canceled.

The district cited the extreme cold. The wind chill is forecast to be 25 to 25 degrees below zero.

LPS said some evening events may continue as planned.

Students had Monday off because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Last week, LPS canceled school for three days because of the weather.
