Nebraska to hire Steelers assistant Glenn Thomas as quarterbacks coach, sources say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach will lead Nebraska’s quarterback room next season.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Tuesday that Nebraska is hiring Glenn Thomas as the program’s new quarterbacks coach.
Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield will remain in his role, while also coaching tight ends, according to Thamel.
Thomas previously worked with Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule at Temple and Baylor.
He also served as an offensive coordinator at Arizona State before becoming an offensive assistant with the Steelers in 2023.
Nebraska’s quarterback room next season will feature Kearney native Heinrich Haarberg and 2024 recruits Dylan Raiola and Danny Kaelin.
