Lincoln man seriously injured in Gage County crash

Authorities said a Lincoln man was seriously injured after a single-vehicle accident in Gage County.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded late Tuesday to the intersection of S 148th Road and Main Street.

GCSO said a truck driven by Kory Troutman, 45, of Lincoln, left the road and hit a stop sign at the intersection. The truck continued through a ditch and over the roadway before striking a tree north of the intersection.

Troutman was taken to Bryan West with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

GCSO said seatbelts were not in use at the time of the accident.
