2 arrested after meth found in Beatrice motel, suspect’s vehicle

Two people were arrested following searches of a vehicle and a Beatrice motel room that authorities say turned up meth and cash.

Officers with the Beatrice Police Department and Gage County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tiannie Alexander, 24, of Tecumseh, after serving a search warrant on a room at the Traveler’s Lodge Motel in Beatrice around 7:45 a.m. Monday. Alexander was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after authorities said they found a syringe containing suspected liquid meth in the room.

A few hours later, deputies arrested Chad Loseke, 39, of Hastings, in the motel parking lot. A search of Loseke’s vehicle turned up approximately 111 grams of suspected meth, authorities said. Loseke also had cash and other items of “drug evidence,” according to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.

Loseke was arrested for driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance.
